TAG: The Bedtime Tag

I hereby proclaim that I love my bed! I wish I could walk around with my duvet wrapped around me at all times; at least I’d never be cold. My patients would probably think it a bit weird but on the other hand it might help them with their fear of falling if they knew that the worst that could happen was them landing on a soft fluffy duvet.

I saw this tag over on Keep Reading Forward and thought it was kind of cute and fun, and right up my alley, so here goes:


Describe your usual bedtime routine

Usually I’m already in my PJs an hour or two before I head to bed because I’m a comfy-lass. I go out and remove my makeup, turns off lights etc and check that the door is locked. Then I brush my teeth and go to bed. If I can’t sleep I cozy up with my beloved duvet and ponder until I fall asleep.

What are your favorite pajamas?

I don’t have one. I like all my PJ-shirts and they are equally comfortable.

What is your current bedtime reading?

I don’t have one at the moment. It depends if I’m in one of my reading phases or not.

What would I find on your bedside table?

Which one? I only have my lamps, and on the right side I also have my alarm clock (a fancy device that looks like half a sun and powers down gradually from yellow to orange light to simulate a sunset). I like a clean table. If I do have a book I’ll store it on the shelf underneath.

What scent makes you sleepy?

I can honestly say that I’ve never thought about this before, ever. Usually lying down make me sleepy, no matter where or when.

What is your usual bedtime and wake up time?

Bedtime: 22.00-22.30
Waking up: 7.00

What are your top three bedtime products?

Vaseline (to remove makeup), Face Wash from Danish Skincare and my duvet.

What is your most common sleeping position?

I usually sleep on either side, or in a prone position.

Do you have anything you like to take to bed with you?

When available, my boyfriend.

What’s your worst bedtime habit?

Being on my laptop or my phone right before going to bed even though I know I’d get a better night’s sleep if I turned off any device 30 min beforehand. My best habit, however, is that I don’t have any eletronics in my bedroom.
