**EDIT** I updated the link to the quiz which is why the interface has changed. The questions, however, are the same.
I’ve always identified as a Ravenclaw with strong hints of Huffepuff. Usually I’m almost 50/50 of each which, if you think about if, really makes me a Ravenpuff. Maybe I would have been a Hatstall, who knows. I found the quiz on my favourite magical YouTube channel and thought I would give it go.
About the quiz: it’s basically the Pottermore quiz, and has the same 28 questions (though these questions might be from an earlier version). The thing I like about this quiz is that every time you click off a question it will show you your house percentages, and when you scroll down it will follow so that you can always see how every question affects the score. The bad thing about this method, I suppose, is that it can affect how you choose if you’re set on getting a certain house.

Now let’s get started!
This is what the top of the page looks like and as you can see you have the four houses with it’s percentage underneath.
QUESTION 1
I do like dawn, but where I live dusk is where the sky displays an array of colours and there’s just something magical and peaceful about dusk.
QUESTION 2
Forests are magical in many ways, though I suppose they can be eerie at night time. Back when I had my depression I walked a lot in a forest nearby where I lived and it felt like it healed my soul little by little the more I went there.
QUESTION 3
Stars consists of suns, planets and moons. Why settle when you can have it all, right?
QUESTION 4
I feel that in some ways I am all of those things but I actively try to educate myself all the time and put in the effort to try and understand the world we live in so I think being called ignorant would hurt the most.
QUESTION 5
I was close to choosing the latter because there is some truth to the fact that you set your footprints while alive, but then I realised that even though I obviously wouldn’t care what people thought when I was dead, I care now. I don’t want to give people a reason to speak ill of me when I’m dead, and I think there’s something beautiful in your loved ones gathering around a table looking at pictures of me and them, remembering the times we shared.
QUESTION 6
Let me be clear: I value being good and kind above being intelligent. That said, being wise is not the same as being intelligent. I feel that a wise person would know how important goodness and kindness are and try to live accordingly. I don’t think you can be both wise and a prick. You can quote me on that.
QUESTION 7
This one is easy. I don’t care about glory and power, and being guaranteed love through a potion just sounds sad and reminds me of Merope Gaunt. Trust me: you want love to be real! We all deserve someone who will love us for who we are.
QUESTION 8
I am such a home person and I always have been. I suppose it makes sense if you think about that I’ve been wanting a family for 5 years now, that I’d rather stay at home than go out drinking every weekend.
QUESTION 9
I suppose I could look past the colour if it smelled like chocolate and plums, which probably means that it tastes like it too. I am intrigued by the golden liquid and I guess it could taste of sunshine but I think I’d be too scared it tasted like piss.
QUESTION 10
I do like the violin but the piano has always been special to me, clearly, since I learned how to play and own one. If I get rich one day I would like to buy a grand piano (and a bigger house to place it in).
STATUS
So far I’m not surprised at all, I told you that I am a Ravenpuff! If you think that I took this quiz before writing the post, I didn’t. I’m taking the quiz and writing down my results simultaneously for a better result. Let’s continue.
QUESTION 11
Honestly, the two latter sounds scary as hell! I would be curious about the talking toadstools, but my attention has a way of being immediately attracted to beauty and I imagine a silver leafed tree bearing golden apples would be very pretty.
QUESTION 12
I feel like the latter is very Dumbledore and it would be interesting to see if I was worthy. The ornate golden casket with its secret knowledge is tempting but unfortunately unbearable temtation sounds a bit too much like Pandora’s Box to me.
QUESTION 13
I hate it when trolls go beserk. Tuesday at Hogwarts, am I right? I think I would want to save what I knew to be valuable items first, and let’s face it; the book with strange runes could possibly be a way to finish the dragon pox cure, but I think we can all agree that it most likely is crap.
QUESTION 14
I’ve tried all of them and loneliness is by far the worst. Don’t mistake being alone with being lonely. In fact, I have most often felt lonely in the company of others. To those who have never felt lonely, congratulations! You’re lucky and I hope you will never know that feeling. If I had to discribe it I would say that it feels like your soul is hurting.
QUESTION 15
Trust is one of the backbones of any relationship. I don’t know if you can trust someone you don’t like? Please let me know your thoughts in the comment section down below.
QUESTION 16
At first I thought about choosing the latter but quickly realised that that’s my vanity speaking. I would like to be able to read minds. It most likely would feel like a curse at first but I would learn how to control it. It can be a very useful way to tell if someone is lying, or if someone had trouble expressing their emotions I could find out how they felt (with their permission, of course!)
QUESTION 17
I don’t feel like I could exclude a subject before I tried it. I realise that that is a very Ravenclaw answer.
QUESTION 18
MERPEOPLE! They fascinate me but I don’t know why. I think studying werewolves would give me nightmares.
QUESTION 19
As I’m sure you can tell I am a pacifist, but I will say that if that isn’t working then we would all have to fight it together.
QUESTION 20
Now my answer is based off of the assumption that my house mate and I aren’t really friends. If he/she was my friend I would tell Flitwick to ask my friend himself, and then strongly urge my friend to come clean.
STATUS
I have a slight Ravenclaw tilt, but I think I’m pretty evenly distributed. Let’s see what happens when I answer the last 8 questions.
QUESTION 21
Oo, that would be a harmless way to have some fun. We all know that it would play on his/her mind for a while.
QUESTION 22
I don’t think there’s anything more scary than that! There are nightmares that makes you scared but in a pure way, if you know what I mean? And then there’re nightmares like this that are fundamentally scary, and the feeling will exist in you for the rest of the day.
QUESTION 23
This reminds me of Maurice from Beauty and the Beast. When confronted with a nice path and an eerie looking road he decides that the scary looking one is the right one and you sit there thinking: “what the fuck are you doing?” I will always choose the light and open space.
QUESTION 24
I would LIKE to choose the first option but the problem is that what if someone needs your help? Don’t get me wrong, I would be shitting myself but it’s the right thing to do.
QUESTION 25
I’ve always chosen the Snowy owl because I love Hedwig so much, but I am a cat person and it would bring me some comfort while away at Hogwarts. I love it when cats purr and the warmth when it lies on your lap. I had a Tabby cat as a child which is why I chose that.
QUESTION 26
I suppose it depends on what mood I’m in. You’re welcome to interpret my answer as you please.
QUESTION 27
I always choose heads, don’t ask me why. It reminds me of that episode of FRIENDS where Chandler and Joey babysit Ben, loses him on a bus, and when they find him there’re two babies and they have to decide which one to take home because they can’t see which one is actually Ben. They decide to flip for it and Joey chooses heads because ducks have head. You can watch the clip here. So funny!
QUESTION 28
I’m right-handed and have always had a thing for my right side.
RESULT
well well, will you look at that. I can’t say that I’m surprised. Fun fact, if I’d chosen left in the last question my Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff percentage would have been even at 33%. What does surprise me a bit is my relatively high Gryffindor percentage. You know that thing everyone talks about? Courage? Yeah, I don’t have any so I will take it as a compliment.
So, there you go. As usual I have no idea how to finish off my post and because I’m such a Hufflepuff I always choose to be honest about it. If you decide to take the quiz yourself please feel free to comment in what house you got sorted into in the comment section down below. Cheers!

In what house have you been sorted?
What would you have chosen in the questions above, and why?
Are there indeed too many trolls going beserk at Hogwarts?
This quiz is really interesting – I went through and answered the questions as I always do (58% Slytherin, 21% Ravenclaw, 16% Gryffindor, 5% Hufflepuff) but then I went back out of curiosity just to see what would change with some of the questions I hesitated on (and discovered I’d only be more Slytherin hahaha)

So you’re a Slytherin, interesting 😉 Joke aside, I do prefer that you can see your percentage of each house.

I took the quiz and I got Ravenclaw. I was also sorted as Ravenclaw in Pottermore before. This is really fun, thanks for sharing!

I think I’ve done every Sorting Hat quiz out there, and every single one comes back as a Ravenclaw. If only I were as clever as Ravenclaw requires!

Fellow Ravenclaw! You know, it’s a common misconception that Ravenclaws are intelligent (although that we are also!) What makes us Ravenclaws are our abilities of creativity, openmindedness and wisdom. That’s why Hermione, who is very booksmart, isn’t a Ravenclaw. Her mind is square and closed off which, if you remember, Xenophilius Lovegood mentions in Deathly Hallows (and Trelawney in Prisoner of Azkaban for that matter). What I’m trying to say is that I’m sure you fit perfectly in Ravenclaw.

Ah thank you, and yes, now you mention it, I do remember Trelawney quite rightfully stating that divination is not for Hermione. It’s nice to have a bit of reassurance 🙂

I got an equal split between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, can that be a thing? Also more Hufflepuff than Slytherin, although that makes more sense to me. Taking Sorting Hat or any Harry Potter quizzes is always fun, though!

It can most definitely be a thing! There are unofficial hybrid houses and you’re quite clearly a Ravendor.

Hufflepuff was the highest percentage for me by far and the second highest was Slytherin.

Wow, how did that happen? I’ve never seen this combination before, that’s so interesting! I’m impressed.

I took it and I got Gryffindor. That is what every sorting hat quiz has sorted me into. By far this one was the best quiz that I have taken.

I hope you feel like a Gryffindor, then 🙂
